Q & A

My first priority with you as a prospective
client is to:
1) Determine what you wish to achieve, and
2) Assess how I
can best help you.
This is the focus
of your free initial consultation. During this discussion we'll fully explore your situation. Usually
I'll make some suggestions you can take away with you for immediate use -
regardless of whether or not we enter into a formal agreement.
If I don't think you should use
my services I will tell you. This may be because you are not ready, or because another type of service
provider would be better for you. My objective is to encourage
clear communication and achieve a common understanding of your sales and
marketing options.
Exceptional value.
Depending upon your requirements I may supply a written proposal covering outcomes, suggested time frames,
professional fees and related issues. I believe in fair pricing and providing exceptional
value for money. My fees are very competitive.
In most situations my professional fee will be presented as an hourly
(or daily) rate,
although in some circumstances - such as training events - it will be more appropriate to quote an
inclusive total fee for the project.
Please contact me for
more details or to arrange your complimentary obligation free
initial interview. This first meeting will usually be held over the
phone. If appropriate that will be followed up with a personal meeting in your office (or other
convenient location) at a time that suits us both.

Package - especially for new/smaller businesses.]
After our initial discussions, if we agree to
proceed, and before any work is undertaken, I will
seek your authorisation of my Terms of Engagement. This is simply a
statement of how I work so there are no surprises for you.
Non-chargeable time.
In order to provide a quality professional service, substantial non-chargeable time is
regularly incurred which does not directly relate to one
client, but in effect benefits all clients. Tasks on which non-chargeable time may be spent include research,
training and general communications. Clients are never billed for time
spent in this way.
Interstate and international projects.
Although Marketing Nous is based in
Brisbane, Queensland, interstate or international assignments are easily handled. In fact, past and present
clients are located as far away as Victoria, New Zealand, and even Papua
New Guinea. The best way to find out how you can
benefit is to discuss your requirements.
